Challenge: Lymphedema

Strive for Compassion

Aug 16, 2021

Hello LAO members,

We are excited to see several teams have signed up for the Challenge: Lymphedema 2021 Fundraiser and donations are already flowing, we have raised over $500 of our $20,000 goal already!

Your funds will also help us continue to fund the Compassion Fund, support our donation of diagnostic equipment for Lymphedema to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, run our toll-free help line, support groups, advocacy work and provide educational material for patients and health professionals.

Why is your support so important?

We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations and membership dues to survive. Your support will ensure we can continue with the programs and services that lymphedema patients need.

We realize these are challenging times and many of us are coping with dramatic changes to our lives. To make fundraising efforts easier for those who want simplify their contribution an Ontario wide team has been formed, Ontario Challenge: Lymphedema team, you can sign up here: Team Ontario Canada Helps Page and please fill out and return this form to us Participant Waiver Form.

You can commit to as little or as much activity as you want and share the page with friends and family, to raise funds. For those not comfortable with online donations they can also donate by cheque or credit card, the following form can be printed:
