DESCRIPTION:

Join us to learn about the importance of stretching and how it can benefit your lymphatic system, flexibility and mobility . We will also review some stretches that can release blockages to decrease swelling and help the lymph fluid move throughout the lymphatic system promoting nutrient delivery and toxin removal from our systems.


SPEAKERS:


Heather Cirone
BPHE, BScPT, FCAMT, CPedC, CDT


Heather Cirone is a physical therapist, certified pedorthist and a CDT therapist working in Durham Region.  She is passionate about lymphedema having worked most of her career with a focus on the lymphatic system.  She is a regular guest speaker and pole walking instructor at Hearth Place Cancer Centre in Oshawa and and a volunteer for LAO.  As a physical educator she particularly enjoys promoting the benefits of exercise and activity for lymphedema.
