Thank you all for your support and advocacy efforts this past World Lymphedema Day

medi Canada is proud to announce that the March Lymphedema Awareness Month fundraising campaign has been successful! Of the $5,300 raised, $2,800 will be donated to the Quebec Lymphedema Association (LAQ), $2,000 to the Lymphedema Association of Ontario (LAO), and $500 to the Lymphedema Association of Manitoba (LAM).

These donations will allow the Canadian Lymphedema Associations to support the cause and continue their primary mission: to change the lives of people affected by lymphedema.

These valiant Canadian Lymphedema Associations work to support, educate and raise awareness of people living with lymphedema, their families and friends, and health care professionals. They provide information and education on lymphedema, its causes, risk reduction, and treatments for this chronic disease while encouraging scientific research towards a cure.

Lymphedema Awareness month is one of the most symbolic periods for all persons living with lymphedema. Worldwide each year, the entire month is dedicated to raising awareness and rolling out advocacy activities to raise the profile of lymphedema and related

lymphatic disorders.
