    With rising breast cancer rates, medi is trying to increase awareness around this topic to help faster treatment and prevention of breast cancer related lymphedema. This webinar includes:

    SPEAKERS:


    Marize Ibrahim, MSc, PT, CLT-LANA, CPA Specialist - Oncology


    Marize holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from McGill University. A Clinical Specialist in Oncology Physiotherapy, she is certified by the Physiotherapy Specialty Certification Board of Canada and is a member of both the OPPQ and CPA. Passionate about oncology rehabilitation, she has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications, presented at national and international conferences, and co-developed educational tools for patients with bone metastasis. Marize works at the McGill University Health Centre Lymphedema Clinic and is a certified LANA and Casley-Smith Lymphedema Therapist, Bone Fit Trained Specialist, and instructor. In her spare time, she volunteers as a National Medical Classifier for Canadian para-swimming and is training to become an International Classifier for the Paralympic Games.
