If you have the space and want to make a difference in your own practice, and the field as a whole, consider the advantages of hosting.
BENEFITS TO YOUR FACILITY IF YOU HOST:
  1. Free training for up to three staff members based upon total program enrollment, one spot guaranteed
  2. Grow your program’s skills and offerings
  3. Demonstrate leadership in the field (all course hosts are advertised on the Norton School website, and listed alongside such luminaries as the Mayo Clinic, the University of Pennsylvania, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Massachusetts General, and more)
  4. Great recruiting opportunity to fill open positions (and watch potential candidates in action)
  5. Meet other clinicians in the field and share ideas
  6. No offsite travel and accommodations for your staff
  7. Norton School handles all the external marketing to fill the class

Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy trains the majority of lymphedema specialists in the United States and is the only school hosted by many of the most prestigious facilities in the world. Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is the most successful treatment for chronic extremity lymphedema. Post mastectomy lymphedema and other related conditions respond extremely well to this gentle, non-invasive, and highly effective therapy. CDT is sometimes referred to as Complete/Complex Decongestive Physiotherapy (CDP). Upon completion of the class, the therapist will be able to differentiate between a variety of peripheral edemas as well as understand the applications, medical indications, and contraindications of MLD and CDT. Additionally, the therapist will be able to establish a CDT treatment plan for individuals with primary or secondary lymphedema and perform the indicated treatment.
